The annual seasonal flu vaccination will greatly decrease your chances of getting a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Also, by getting your flu vaccination you are lessening the chance of the disease spreading throughout the community.
Flu season in the United States can begin in October and end in May. The flu vaccination can take two weeks to develop antibodies to provide protection against the influenza viruses so please plan accordingly.
